Writing Concepts/Writing

Writing Concepts include demonstrating the understanding that written shapes and letters have meanings. Some examples of skills included in this behavior are: imitating writing by scribbling, pointing to text while it is being read out loud, identifying letters in print to match stated letter names, and asking an adult to write down the story they are telling.
